Hyvisc® (hyaluronate sodium)

Dependable solution for reducing joint inflammation

Hyvisc is a highly pure and effective solution for treating inflamed joints caused by synovitis associated with equine osteoarthritis. It has all the hallmarks of what veterinarians look for in a hyaluronic acid product: high molecular weight, high viscosity and purity, and low levels of extraneous protein.

Delivered through intra-articular injection, Hyvisc effectively lubricates the joint, a result of its viscoelastic properties, and mimics naturally occurring synovial fluid.1,2 It has been proven to significantly reduce inflammation and increase lubrication of joint cartilage and soft tissue after a single 2-mL injection. Hyvisc also has been shown to be safe for use in pregnant mares.3

Reliability you can trust

Because Hyvisc is a Boehringer Ingelheim product, it's sold only through licensed veterinarians.
